Introduction

A user logs in to the ServiceNav monitoring platform. A user is assigned a role that gives him/her rights to functions of the monitoring platform. A user also reports to a supervised company.

Creation

To create a new user you need a user account with sufficient rights (refer to the description of the roles).

To create a user account :

  • Go to the section Administration
  • Navigate in the menu Application > User accounts
  • Click on Add

Complete the form and validate it:

Role Change

To change a person's role, click on the user's name in the list of users :

In the user master record, select the appropriate role from the list of proposed roles.

Password change

The password is changed using the forgotten password procedure.

 

 Deletion

To delete a user, you must have a user account with sufficient rights (refer to the description of the roles).

To delete a user account :

  • Go to the section Administration
  • Navigate in the menu Application > User accounts
  • Select the user from the user list
  • Choose action Delete
